Tadi Dr Mizan cerita pasal konsep pembelajaran kita di Malaysia ni. Kat Malaysia ni mcm more to exam oriented. Sikit sikit ada exam. Sikit sikit exam. Stressssss doh!
Macam students kat oversea, they dont have to go to extra classes pun, betul x?
Hurm. Ntah sampai bila agaknya kita nak habis ambik exam.
And then, ada la isu yang dibangkitkan. Let say we as lecturers dah sediakan lesson kita in Malay. But suddenly we have ONE international student. How? Should we suddenly change the language to English? Or should we just teach them in Malay? Like, for example, class Hubungan Etnik. Dulu kita kat U pun belajar Hubungan Etnik in Malay Language kan. Jeng jeng jeng. Apakah solusi yang sesuai tu?

Like in my case, teaching the International students is not easy. But i am not saying that it is difficult. Cumanya..tak ke these students bosan mengadap us 6 hours everyday, 5 days a week?? Umur dah meningkat, they are not small kids. They are teenagers. Kalau aku pun aku tak sanggup nak belajar macam zaman sekolah. So for this matter, I really have to think about how to change it. I mean, not to change it, but to improve the system.
Seriously, my previous students pun always got problems with their attendance.
Yelah, kelas everyday start at 9. Datang kelas pukul 11. Habis semua rosak lesson plan for that day. Lecturer nak buat group discussion. Masa 3 jam. Student yang datang cuma 5 orang. Haiyyo! What to do? Sudahnya, lecturer kena la tukar plan last minute tu.
Moral of the story, we really have to find a solution to setle this problem.
